The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has initiated the process for developing a state-of-the-art Fintech Hub in Sector 11 of the YEIDA region, Gautam Budh Nagar, close to the upcoming Noida International Airport. Spread across approximately 250 acres, the proposed Fintech Hub is currently at the stage of preparation of its Detailed Project Report (DPR). The consultancy work for the project is being carried out by Cushman and Wakefield.
As part of the DPR preparation process, a stakeholder consultation workshop was organised on January 12, 2026, at Hotel Le Méridien, Desire Hall. The workshop was chaired by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Senior YEIDA officials including Nagendra Pratap, Additional Chief Executive Officer; Shailendra Kumar Bhatia, Additional Chief Executive Officer; and Rajesh Kumar, Additional Chief Executive Officer, also participated in the deliberations and shared their inputs.

Officials stated that while preparing the Detailed Project Report, several critical aspects are being given due importance, including land use planning, regional and internal connectivity, economic development potential, and the creation of robust social infrastructure. The objective is to develop a Fintech Hub that not only supports advanced financial technology enterprises but also ensures long-term economic vibrancy and a high quality of life for professionals working in the region.

The stakeholder workshop witnessed participation from representatives of Software as a Service (SaaS), insurance and banking sectors, along with real estate developers and other industry stakeholders. The participants engaged in detailed discussions on the proposed development model for the Fintech Hub, the regulatory framework required to support fintech operations, and the infrastructural ecosystem necessary for seamless functioning of such a specialised economic zone.
During the interaction, stakeholders provided valuable insights on topics such as technology-driven workspaces, data and digital infrastructure, regulatory ease, talent availability, residential and social amenities, and integration of the hub with regional transport networks. Emphasis was also laid on the need for sustainable development practices, efficient urban design, and strong last-mile connectivity to ensure the hub remains globally competitive.

YEIDA officials noted that the suggestions and feedback received during the stakeholder consultation workshop would be carefully examined and considered for incorporation into the final DPR and Detailed Financial Report (DFR) of the Fintech Hub project. The authority reiterated that stakeholder participation is a key component in shaping a development that aligns with industry needs and future growth trends.
The proposed Fintech Hub is envisioned as a major economic driver for the YEIDA region, leveraging its strategic proximity to the Noida International Airport and the Yamuna Expressway. Officials believe that the project has the potential to attract domestic and global fintech companies, promote innovation, generate high-value employment, and strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s position as an emerging hub for technology-driven financial services.

YEIDA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that the final Detailed Project Report and Detailed Financial Report are prepared with a strong focus on economic sustainability, innovation, and overall quality of life. The authority emphasized that appropriate and practical suggestions received from stakeholders would be duly integrated into the project planning process.
With the DPR currently under preparation, the Fintech Hub project marks an important step in YEIDA’s broader vision of creating specialised industrial and technology clusters in the region. Officials expressed confidence that, once implemented, the Fintech Hub will play a significant role in boosting investment, fostering innovation, and supporting balanced urban and economic development in the area surrounding the Noida International Airport.
