Gautam Buddh Nagar, 17 February 2026; A special review meeting was held under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate to evaluate the progress of farmer registry in the district. Officials were directed to ensure all eligible farmers complete registration within a defined timeline.
Attending Officials and Progress Report
During the meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium, the Deputy Director of Agriculture briefed officials on the current status of farmer registration. He stated that registration work is ongoing and coordinated efforts are in place to achieve the 100% target.
The District Magistrate emphasized that the farmer registry is a top government priority and should be implemented as a special campaign within strict timelines. Officials were instructed to ensure accountability in areas showing slow progress.
Accountability in Slow-progress Areas
The District Magistrate directed that each tehsil and village should organize special camps. Revenue department clerks, technical assistants from the agriculture department, panchayat secretaries from the development department, and local ration dealers must be present at the camps to complete registration on the spot.

Special camps are being organized at the tehsil and village level. Farmers were instructed to attend their nearest camps to complete registration, ensuring timely compliance and access to government schemes.
Registry Essential for Benefits
The District Magistrate informed farmers that the registry will ensure transparent and systematic access to various government schemes. All departments are required to work in coordination to reach every eligible farmer and complete the registration process.
Upcoming Special Camp Dates and Locations
On 18 February 2026, camps will be held at Dhummanikpur, Chhaysa, and Mahabad (Dadri Tehsil); Mandpa, Achhepur, and Ladpura (Sadar Tehsil); and Phlaida Bangar, Rabupura, and Jahangirpur (Jewar Tehsil). From 19–21 February 2026, camps will be conducted at Kalauda, Jarcha, and Luharli (Dadri Tehsil); Kanarsi, Chiti, and Asatoli (Sadar Tehsil); and Neemka Shahjahanpur, Thora, and Bhaipur Brahmananpur (Jewar Tehsil).
Appeal to Farmers
The District Magistrate appealed to all farmers to attend the nearest camp on the scheduled dates to complete their registration. This will ensure uninterrupted access to government schemes.
