Sector–55
The election of the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of Sector–55, held on Sunday, 18 January 2026, concluded peacefully and successfully. The polling process was carried out in an orderly manner, reflecting active participation and cooperation from residents of the sector. The results were formally announced by the election officers after completion of the counting process.
The election officers—Rajiv Agarwal, Sudhir Srivastava and Rajendra Sharma—declared the outcome of the elections, confirming that the panel led by Satyanarayan Goyal had secured victory.
This year’s RWA election witnessed a direct contest between two panels. One panel was led by Satyanarayan Goyal along with his team, while the opposing panel was led by Gajendra Baisla and his team. The contest remained competitive throughout the polling process. After the completion of voting and counting, the Satyanarayan Goyal panel was officially declared the winning panel.
According to the election officers, the entire electoral exercise was conducted in accordance with established rules and procedures of the RWA. Adequate arrangements were made to ensure transparency, fairness and smooth conduct of the election. Residents participated enthusiastically, and no untoward incident was reported during the polling or counting process. The peaceful conduct of the election was appreciated by members of the association and the election authorities alike.

Following the declaration of results, the list of elected office bearers and members of the Sector–55 RWA was formally announced. The newly elected team represents various roles and responsibilities within the association and will oversee the functioning of the RWA for the forthcoming term.

The election officers stated that the newly elected body will take charge in accordance with the RWA’s constitution and begin its work for the welfare of residents of Sector–55. They expressed confidence that the elected team will work collectively to address civic issues, improve facilities and strengthen coordination between residents and local authorities.
Residents welcomed the conclusion of the election process and extended congratulations to the winning panel. Many residents expressed hope that the new RWA team would focus on key issues such as maintenance of common areas, security, cleanliness, infrastructure improvement and better communication within the community.
