The Pratham Awasiy Bhoomi Khand Yojna 2025(A), implemented on 3 October 2025, has recorded an overwhelming public response, with the development authority receiving an exceptionally high number of applications for the residential plots offered under the scheme. According to official data, e-auctions for 34 residential plots were conducted through the HDFC Bank e-auction portal on 9 and 11 December 2025, drawing widespread participation from homebuyers and investors.
The authority confirmed that a total of 1,375 applications were received for the 34 plots, reflecting strong public interest and high demand for residential land in the region. Officials described the response as “exceptionally encouraging,” noting that the enthusiastic participation highlights the growing market appetite for plotted residential development.
Financially, the scheme delivered a remarkable outcome. Against the reserved price of ₹118.32 crore, the authority received total bids worth ₹204.03 crore, generating an additional revenue of ₹85.71 crore for the authority. This represents a significant financial boost and underscores the scheme’s success in achieving above-expected returns.
Officials also noted that the highest bids reached 172.42% of the reserved value, demonstrating robust competition among bidders. The surge in bidding is viewed as a strong indicator of continued confidence in residential real estate, particularly in plotted development projects where demand remains consistently high.
The Pratham Awasiy Bhoomi Khand Yojna 2025(A) marks one of the strongest responses seen in recent years, both in terms of applications and revenue mobilisation. Authorities believe that the transparency of the HDFC Bank e-auction process, combined with strategic plot locations and rising residential demand, contributed to the scheme’s outstanding performance.
