A training session for polling personnel was conducted on April 28, 2026, in Gautam Buddh Nagar in preparation for the upcoming by-election in Ward-12 of Jewar Nagar Panchayat, scheduled to be held on May 5, 2026. The session was held at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Shivakant Dwivedi.

The training aimed to equip presiding officers and polling personnel with the necessary knowledge and guidelines to ensure the by-election is conducted in a fair, transparent and orderly manner. Master trainers led the session, providing detailed instructions on all aspects of the election process.

Detailed Briefing on Election Procedures

During the training, participants were given comprehensive information on the formation of polling parties, election procedures and arrangements related to vote counting. Various stages of the polling process were explained in detail to ensure that all personnel are well-prepared to handle responsibilities on polling day.
