Gautam Buddh Nagar, April 4, 2026:
The District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Office in Gautam Buddh Nagar has announced that a meeting of the District Sainik Bandhu Committee will be convened on April 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the Collectorate auditorium located in Surajpur. The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar, with the objective of addressing and resolving issues faced by ex-servicemen and their dependents in the district.
According to District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Officer Captain (IN) Ram Pravesh Singh (Retd.), the meeting is part of the administration’s continued efforts to ensure the welfare and support of former armed forces personnel. He stated that the District Sainik Bandhu Committee serves as an important platform where ex-servicemen can directly present their grievances before the district administration and concerned departments, ensuring that their issues are addressed in a timely and coordinated manner.
The officer further informed that a wide range of issues will be taken up during the meeting. These include concerns related to land development, police matters, banking services, pension-related grievances, education, financial assistance, employment opportunities, and any other problems pertaining to ex-servicemen and their families. Officials from relevant departments are expected to be present during the meeting to provide necessary inputs and facilitate on-the-spot resolution wherever possible.
Emphasizing the importance of prior preparation, Captain Ram Pravesh Singh urged all ex-servicemen to submit their grievances in advance to the office of the District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Officer. The last date for submission of issues has been set as April 8, 2026. He explained that receiving complaints beforehand will allow the administration to review each case carefully and brief the District Magistrate in advance, thereby ensuring that the meeting is more productive and effective in resolving pending matters.
The initiative reflects the district administration’s commitment to addressing the concerns of ex-servicemen in a structured and responsive manner. By bringing together officials from multiple departments on a single platform, the meeting aims to streamline the grievance redressal process and provide relief to beneficiaries without unnecessary delays.
