A tragic incident was reported from Greater Noida’s Gaur City-2, where a 36-year-old man allegedly jumped to his death from the 20th floor of a residential building on Friday afternoon. The incident took place in the 14th Avenue Society under the Bisrakh police station area, triggering panic among residents.
Police reached the spot immediately after receiving the information, took possession of the body, and sent it for post-mortem. An investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of the suicide.
The deceased was identified as Vipin Singh, a resident of Dharuhera in Rewari district, Haryana. He was employed with Hero Company and had recently come to visit his sister, who resides in Gaur City-2’s 14th Avenue.
According to police, Vipin suddenly jumped from the 20th floor of the building around noon. He died on the spot due to the severe impact of the fall. Police have confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the location.
Family members told investigators that Vipin appeared normal and was conversing with them shortly before the incident. The sudden act has left the family and residents in shock. Police are questioning family members and continuing their probe to ascertain the exact motive behind the suicide.
