In a move highlighting the administration’s focus on worker welfare and industrial safety, the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar visited the manufacturing facility of JBJ Technology Limited located at Udyog Kendra-2, Ecotech-3 in Greater Noida on April 28, 2026. The visit aimed to assess industrial operations, workplace conditions and ongoing welfare initiatives for workers.

During the inspection, the District Magistrate closely observed the production of automobile components at the plant and gained detailed insights into the manufacturing processes. Special attention was given to the production of seat belts, with officials acknowledging their critical role in road safety. The importance of maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols in manufacturing was emphasized during the review.

Interaction with Workers on Shop Floor

The District Magistrate interacted with workers across various sections of the plant, including those engaged in the assembly line. Women workers, in particular, were engaged in conversations regarding their working conditions and awareness of health-related facilities available to them. The interaction provided an opportunity for workers to share feedback and experiences related to workplace safety and welfare measures.

Officials highlighted that seat belts manufactured at the facility play a crucial role in saving lives, underlining the significance of precision and quality in their production. Workers were encouraged to maintain high standards while also prioritizing their own health and safety.

Inspection of On-Site Medical Camp

As part of the visit, the District Magistrate also inspected a free medical camp organized within the company premises. The camp was conducted under the joint initiative of the district administration, the Industrial Business Association and Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital.

The medical camp offered a range of diagnostic services, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, ECG examinations, eye check-ups and dental screenings. The District Magistrate reviewed the facilities available at the camp and issued necessary directions to the medical team to ensure efficient service delivery.

Workers Express Satisfaction with Health Services

Workers present at the camp shared their experiences and expressed satisfaction with the availability of free healthcare services at their workplace. Many appreciated the convenience of accessing medical facilities without having to leave the factory premises.

The feedback indicated that such initiatives not only improve access to healthcare but also contribute to increased awareness about preventive health measures among workers. The administration noted that workplace-based health camps are particularly beneficial for labor-intensive industries.

Emphasis on Health and Safety Measures

During the inspection, it was observed that tasks involving detailed and precision-based work could have an impact on workers’ eyesight. In view of this, the need for regular health check-ups and appropriate safety measures was emphasized.

Officials stressed the importance of ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, especially in sectors where workers are exposed to repetitive or visually demanding tasks. The administration reiterated its commitment to promoting occupational health and safety standards across industrial units.

Coordination Between Industry and Administration

The District Magistrate stated that both industrial growth and worker safety are equally important for sustainable development. Efforts are being made to strengthen coordination between industries and the administration to improve working conditions and ensure the well-being of workers.

The visit also underscored the role of collaborative initiatives involving government bodies, industry associations and healthcare providers in delivering welfare services effectively.

Senior officials from the industry and administration, including representatives from the Industrial Business Association and company officials, were present during the inspection. The initiative reflects an ongoing effort to integrate health services within industrial ecosystems and promote a culture of safety, quality and worker welfare across the district.
