Gautam Buddh Nagar, April 4, 2026:
In line with the priorities of the Uttar Pradesh government for the academic session 2026–27, the statewide School Chalo Abhiyan was officially launched by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from Composite School Shivpur, Varunapar Zone in Varanasi. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to students for a bright future and emphasized the importance of education, urging authorities to ensure maximum enrollment across schools.
As part of the same initiative, a parallel launch event was in Gautam Buddh Nagar at the Vikas Bhavan auditorium. The program was inaugurated by Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar and Chief Development Officer Dr. Shivakant Dwivedi. Attendees watched the live telecast of the Chief Minister’s address via LED screen during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Tejpal Nagar highlighted that education is a fundamental right of every child and stressed that the objective of the School Chalo Abhiyan is to ensure access to education for all. He appealed to parents to enroll their children in schools so they can become self-reliant and empowered in the future. He also encouraged students to attend school regularly and focus on their studies.
Chief Development Officer Dr. Shivakant Dwivedi reiterated the district administration’s commitment to improving both the accessibility and quality of education. He stated that the campaign aims to connect every child with the education system and instructed all concerned departments to work in coordination to ensure the success of the initiative. He further directed officials to focus not only on increasing enrollment but also on maintaining high standards of education.

During the program, Tejpal Nagar and Legislative Council Member Shrichand Sharma distributed free textbooks, school uniforms, shoes, and socks to students. The distribution generated visible enthusiasm among children and parents present at the venue.
The event was attended by District School Inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh, District Basic Education Officer Rahul Pawar, along with officials from various departments, teachers, parents, and students.
