Noida, December 18, 2025:
A grand Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is being organised under the banner of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Noida, at Shani Maidan in Sector-19, Noida. The religious discourse, which has drawn a large number of devotees, entered its second day on Thursday with profound spiritual messages delivered by renowned Bhagwat Katha exponent Acharya Mridul Krishna Goswami Maharaj from Vrindavan.
Addressing the gathering, Acharya Mridul Krishna Goswami elaborated on the spiritual significance of Shaligram. He stated that a home where the idol of Shaligram is worshipped becomes equivalent to a pilgrimage site within a radius of one kilometre. Emphasising the importance of devotion, he urged devotees to regularly serve and worship Shaligram, describing it as a powerful source of divine blessings and spiritual upliftment.
During the discourse, the Katha Vyas also delivered a strong message for the younger generation, highlighting the importance of serving one’s parents and nurturing a sense of patriotism. He said that while devotees offer chunri to the Goddess in temples, it is equally important to honour and serve one’s own mother and father with dedication and respect. According to him, a person whose parents remain happy and respected receives divine grace, which leads to continuous progress and success in life.
He further stressed that parents, too, have an important responsibility towards their children. They should instil the values of patriotism and love for the nation from an early age. He reminded the audience that every individual has certain duties towards the motherland where they are born, and fulfilling these duties is an essential part of a meaningful life.

Explaining the spiritual importance of the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran, Acharya Mridul Krishna Goswami said that it has the power to eradicate the sins of the present age. He described the Bhagwat as a complete guide to life, stating that it offers solutions to all questions and doubts related to human existence. He added that listening to the Bhagwat Katha leads to the attainment of devotion, inner strength and liberation.
He further remarked that wherever the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is recited, the presence of the divine is assured. According to him, God Himself listens to His own divine narration at such places. He said that a devotee who sheds inhibitions, forgets worldly concerns, and expresses devotion through tears and dance for the Lord not only purifies himself but also sanctifies the entire world.
Quoting the teachings of the Shrimad Bhagwat, Acharya Mridul Krishna Goswami urged devotees to always follow the path of truth. He said that Sanatan Dharma itself is rooted in eternal truth and places special emphasis on truthful conduct, non-violence, devotion to God, and righteous behaviour. He explained that these principles form the foundation of a balanced and spiritually fulfilled life.
The discourse was accompanied by melodious devotional songs, which deeply moved the audience. As the Katha progressed, devotees were seen engrossed in devotion, many becoming emotional and dancing in joy.
