Sector-34 | Sunday–Monday
On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, a mass Rudrabhishek ceremony commenced on Sunday evening at the Community Center premises in Sector-34. The religious observance will continue for eight prahars (24 hours) and conclude on Monday evening after completing the full cycle of rituals.
RWA General Secretary Dharmendra Sharma informed that under the aegis of Rudransh Sanstha, Maha Shivratri is being organized on a large scale this year. A total of 151 devotee families are participating in the sacred ceremony. The ritual began at 3 PM on Maha Shivratri and will conclude at 3 PM on Monday.

All participating families are performing Rudrabhishek of Lord Bholenath with complete विधि-विधान (traditional procedures) and Vedic chanting. Since early morning, devotees started gathering at the Community Center premises in large numbers. The Rudrabhishek commenced with Vedic mantra chanting by Brahmins.

Rituals Conducted with Vedic Precision
Experienced acharyas are conducting the ceremony in a systematic and traditional manner. Throughout the event, the entire premises echoed with chants of “Om Namah Shivaya” and “Har Har Mahadev,” creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The program reflected a remarkable blend of faith, devotion, and discipline.
Each devotee participated in the worship along with their family members. Couples performed abhishek on the Shivling by offering milk, water, panchamrit, belpatra, bhang, and dhatura, praying for fulfillment of their wishes and seeking divine blessings.
Organized Arrangements by Rudransh Sanstha and Jagannath Seva Sangh
The smooth execution of the event was made possible through the coordinated efforts of members of Rudransh Sanstha and Jagannath Seva Sangh. Comprehensive arrangements were made to ensure the comfort and safety of all attendees. Security measures, availability of puja materials, proper seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, and systematic prasad distribution were all managed in an organized manner.
The organizers ensured that the spiritual sanctity of the event was maintained while also addressing logistical requirements for the large gathering.
Commitment to Strengthening Faith and Unity
Acharyas associated with the event stated that organizing such religious programs every Maha Shivratri is their firm resolve. According to them, such collective spiritual gatherings strengthen the values of religion, unity, and cultural traditions within society.
The ceremony will conclude on Monday evening after completing the full 24-hour ritual cycle, followed by the distribution of prasad among devotees.
