The Basic Education Department has intensified efforts to resolve issues related to UPAR (Unique Pupil Academic Record) IDs for students in the district. District Basic Education Officer Rahul Pawar stated that through official correspondence and online meetings, strict instructions have been issued to ensure 100% completion of student profiles, school profiles, and teacher profiles on the U-DISE Plus portal.
Pawar highlighted that in some schools, student profiles had been entered incorrectly on the U-DISE portal. To rectify this, a total of 503 forms have been filled based on students’ Aadhaar cards and school records, and the profile revision process is currently underway. The primary goal is to ensure that no student faces obstacles in generating their UPAR ID, safeguarding access to all educational benefits and schemes.
During the profile correction process, special attention is being given to ensure that all personal details, academic records, and school-related information are accurately updated on the portal. Technical teams and school administrations are actively involved to correct any errors promptly.
The District Basic Education Officer assured students and parents that the process will be completed within the stipulated time frame. He emphasized that UPAR IDs are directly linked to educational benefits, scholarships, examination registrations, and other government schemes. Continuous monitoring is being conducted to ensure that no student experiences delays or obstacles in obtaining their digital academic ID.
Pawar further explained that schools have been instructed to regularly review and update student data to identify and correct any discrepancies. Any errors found in student profiles are immediately addressed to ensure accuracy.
The Basic Education Department also clarified that students’ academic progress and access to government schemes remain fully protected. Technical support and staff supervision have been enhanced to prevent any hindrance in generating UPAR IDs.
Appealing to students and parents, Pawar said, “If any student notices an error in their profile, they should immediately contact the school administration or the District Education Office. The department will ensure that all students’ UPAR IDs are created accurately and on time. Our priority is that no student is deprived of any educational scheme or benefit.”
The Information Department of Gautam Buddh Nagar noted that this initiative is a significant step for students across the district. It not only ensures access to government benefits but also strengthens the digital education ecosystem, promoting transparency and accountability in student data management.
Through this campaign, the Basic Education Department has conveyed a clear message that maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records through technological platforms is a governance priority. The initiative ensures that students’ digital identity, their UPAR ID, is generated without delay or errors.
The program will also improve transparency, monitoring, and record-keeping in all schools across the district. The department believes that effective use of technology in education enhances both student learning outcomes and access to government schemes.
In conclusion, the UPAR ID generation and profile revision campaign guarantees that students in Gautam Buddh Nagar will not be deprived of their educational rights or benefits, ensuring timely access to scholarships, examinations, and other critical academic opportunities.
