A delegation from the Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Associations (FONRWA) held a courtesy meeting with District Magistrate Medha Rupam at her residence to discuss various civic issues and explore solutions for challenges faced by residents of Noida. The delegation aimed to bring key concerns to the attention of the administration and seek collaborative measures for effective problem-solving in the city.
FONRWA President Yogendra Sharma and General Secretary K.K. Jain requested the District Magistrate to consider attending the Noida office twice a week to directly address residents’ grievances. They highlighted the importance of regular engagement between the administration and resident welfare associations to ensure timely resolution of civic and infrastructural issues.
In response, District Magistrate Medha Rupam assured the delegation that she would consider the proposal and confirmed that she would periodically hold meetings with FONRWA and RWA office-bearers, as well as representatives from other resident bodies and civic institutions. This approach, she noted, would facilitate better coordination and more responsive governance in addressing local concerns.
The meeting included a detailed discussion on a range of city issues, including infrastructure, maintenance, traffic management, and public amenities. FONRWA leaders emphasized the need for proactive administration and consistent communication between the authorities and residents to enhance the quality of civic services in Noida.
The delegation members present at the meeting included Yogendra Sharma (President, FONRWA), K.K. Jain (General Secretary), Trilok Sharma, Vijay Bhati, Umashankar Sharma, Pradeep Vohra, Latsahab Lohia (Advocate), Sanjay Chauhan, Vinod Sharma, Omveer Bansal, Koshinder Yadav, Rajesh Singh, and Anita.
K.K. Jain, in his capacity as General Secretary, noted that the meeting reinforced the importance of collaboration between resident welfare associations and the district administration. He emphasized that such interactions provide a platform for residents to voice concerns, propose solutions, and participate actively in improving urban governance.
The District Magistrate’s engagement with FONRWA reflects the administration’s commitment to citizen-centric governance and responsive public service, aiming to strengthen coordination between government officials and local communities to ensure that urban issues are addressed efficiently.
