Greater Noida, January 22, 2026:
Residents of Eta One, Jeta One, and Delta Three sectors in Greater Noida received a major civic boost on Thursday with the inauguration of newly constructed community centres in their localities. The facilities, developed by the Greater Noida Authority, were formally inaugurated by Tejpal Nagar, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Dadri, along with Abhishek Sharma, district president of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The inauguration marks the completion of three modern community centres built at a total cost of approximately ₹6.5 crore. The new facilities are expected to significantly improve access to social infrastructure for residents and provide dedicated spaces for community gatherings, cultural programmes, and social events.

Long-Standing Demand Addressed
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Tejpal Nagar described the completion of the community centres as an important step toward fulfilling a long-standing demand of residents in the three sectors. He appreciated the initiative taken under the leadership of N G Ravi Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Noida Authority.
The MLA said that the absence of proper community facilities had been a persistent issue for residents, particularly when organizing weddings, social functions, and other community events. With the new centres now operational, residents will no longer have to face difficulties in arranging such programmes.
He added that providing essential civic amenities to sector residents remains a top priority and assured that development-oriented works would continue in Greater Noida to improve the quality of life for citizens.

Commitment to Civic Infrastructure
District BJP president Abhishek Sharma also addressed the gathering and said that the Greater Noida Authority is consistently working toward strengthening civic infrastructure across the city. He noted that the construction of community centres reflects the authority’s commitment to ensuring that residents have access to essential public facilities within their own neighbourhoods.
According to him, such projects not only support social cohesion but also contribute to the overall planned development of Greater Noida as a modern urban centre.

Details of the Community Centres
Providing details of the project, Ratik, Senior Manager of Work Circle-5 in the Authority’s Project Department, said that the three community centres in Eta One, Jeta One, and Delta Three were constructed at a combined cost of around ₹6.56 crore.
Each of the centres has been designed to cater to multiple community needs. The facilities include a spacious common hall suitable for social and cultural events, a library to encourage reading and learning among residents, office space for administrative use, separate toilets for men and women, and adequate parking arrangements.
Officials said the inclusion of libraries within the community centres is aimed at promoting educational and intellectual activities at the local level, particularly for students and senior citizens.

Convenience for Sector Residents
Residents expressed satisfaction with the new facilities, stating that the availability of well-equipped community centres within their sectors would save both time and expense. Earlier, residents often had to rely on private banquet halls or facilities located far from their homes, which posed logistical and financial challenges.
With the inauguration of these centres, sector residents are expected to benefit from accessible, affordable, and well-maintained venues for community functions, meetings, and celebrations.
Attendance at the Inauguration
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several local representatives and residents, including Brijpal Rathi, Deepak Bhati, Adesh Bhardana, Ankit Bhati, Rajesh Sharma, Digpal Singh, Tej Sharma, Kanwar Singh Pawar, Chaudhary Yogendra, along with a large number of local residents.
Officials and staff from Work Circle-5 and the Electrical Engineering Department of the Greater Noida Authority were also present at the event and briefed the guests about the features and facilities of the new community centres.
Focus on Planned Urban Development
Officials of the Greater Noida Authority reiterated that the development of community infrastructure is an integral part of the city’s master planning. They said that community centres play a vital role in fostering social interaction, cultural exchange, and community engagement in residential sectors.
The Authority stated that similar projects will continue to be taken up in other sectors based on local requirements, with the aim of ensuring balanced and inclusive urban development.
The inauguration of the community centres in Eta One, Jeta One, and Delta Three is expected to strengthen community life in these sectors and stands as another step in the Greater Noida Authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance civic amenities for residents across the city.
