Gautam Buddh Nagar | March 13, 2026 — A review meeting of the Revenue Department was held at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate to assess the progress of departmental work and pending revenue cases.
During the meeting, the status of revenue cases pending at different levels was reviewed in detail. The District Magistrate issued necessary directions to concerned officials to expedite the disposal process and ensure timely resolution of cases.
Instructions for Time-Bound Disposal of Cases
While reviewing the pending matters, the District Magistrate emphasized that cases related to public interest must be resolved within a fixed timeline. Officials were directed to conduct hearings on priority and ensure that all pending revenue cases are disposed of within 20 days.
He stressed that timely resolution of such cases is essential to provide relief to citizens and improve administrative efficiency.
Officials Asked to Monitor Pending Cases Regularly
The District Magistrate also instructed revenue officials to regularly review pending cases at their respective levels and ensure that no unnecessary delay occurs in the disposal process.
He reiterated that prompt action on revenue matters will help address public grievances effectively and strengthen public trust in the administration.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Priyanka, Deputy Collector Ved Prakash Pandey, Deputy Collector Charul Yadav, Tehsildar Jewar Om Prakash Paswan, and other officials from the Revenue Department.
