Gautam Buddh Nagar
The first sub-committee meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Eighteenth Legislative Assembly Estimates Committee (2025–26) was held at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium under the chairmanship of Mukesh Chaudhary. The meeting focused on a detailed review of departmental योजनाएँ and budgetary provisions, with officials instructed to ensure efficiency, transparency, and timely execution of public welfare schemes.

During the meeting, committee members Dr. Manju Shivach, Laxmi Raj Singh, Shahid Manzoor, Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar, BJP District President Gautam Buddh Nagar Abhishek Sharma, District Magistrate Medha Rupam, Additional CP (Headquarters) Ajay Kumar, Chief Development Officer Dr. Shivakant Dwivedi, Additional CEO Noida Vandana Tripathi, Additional CEO Greater Noida Prerna Singh, Additional CEO Yamuna Authority Manish, and Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Manglesh Dubey were present, along with officials from the district administration, police, and development authorities.
Comprehensive Review of Key Departments
The committee conducted an in-depth review of multiple departments, including Public Works Department, Transport, Industrial Development Authorities (Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna), Health, Energy, Food and Civil Supplies, Tourism, Mandi Committee, Women Welfare, NRLM, Revenue, Urban Local Bodies, Education, Irrigation, and Panchayati Raj.
Officials were directed to closely monitor the progress of schemes and ensure that budget allocations are utilized effectively. Emphasis was placed on accountability and maintaining quality standards across all departments.

Infrastructure and Urban Management Focus
Special attention was given to infrastructure development and civic management. The Public Works Department was instructed to maintain roads in a strong, safe, and pothole-free condition, while ensuring quality in construction work and adherence to timelines.
Development authorities were directed to strengthen sanitation systems, ensure effective waste disposal, and provide permanent solutions to waterlogging issues. Instructions were also issued to improve drainage systems, enhance the capacity of sewage treatment plants, adopt modern machinery, and develop land banks for future planning.
Officials were further asked to maintain close coordination with public representatives and ensure quick, time-bound, and quality resolution of public grievances.
Health, Welfare, and Essential Services
The health department was instructed to improve accessibility and effectiveness of healthcare services. Officials were directed to expedite the issuance of Ayushman cards to eligible beneficiaries and ensure better treatment facilities.
The irrigation department was asked to complete repair work on canal-side roads at the earliest. The Food and Civil Supplies Department was instructed to maintain transparency and efficiency in the distribution of food grains and LPG cylinders. Additionally, marketing officials were directed to ensure proper arrangements of drinking water, shade, and seating for farmers at procurement centers.
Strengthening Self-Help Groups and Rural Livelihoods
During the review of the NRLM department, the District Development Officer presented details regarding products manufactured by self-help groups and their income generation activities. The chairperson appreciated the efforts of these groups and sought further information on product quality, marketing systems, and income growth.
Directions were issued to strengthen these initiatives and promote them on a larger scale to enhance rural livelihoods and economic empowerment.
Emphasis on Transparency and Timely Execution
The chairperson instructed all officials to prioritize effective, transparent, and time-bound implementation of public welfare schemes. Stress was laid on ensuring that benefits reach eligible citizens without delay.
The District Magistrate assured that all directions issued during the meeting would be implemented through the concerned departments and that progress would be regularly reviewed to ensure compliance.
The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on coordination among departments and a commitment to improving governance and service delivery across Gautam Buddh Nagar.
