Noida, December 31, 2025:
In response to the escalating air pollution in the Delhi-NCR region, Santushti Seva Foundation organized a mask distribution camp today at Harola, Sector 5, Noida. The event was inaugurated by Sanjay Bali, representative of former Union Minister and current Member of Parliament Dr. Mahesh Sharma.
During the camp, Bali distributed masks to residents and emphasized the importance of personal responsibility in combating pollution. He stated that while the government is implementing measures to reduce pollution, citizens must also remain aware and proactive in protecting their health. Bali urged all residents to consistently wear masks and adopt preventive measures to safeguard themselves from the harmful effects of pollution.

Speaking at the event, Santushti Seva Foundation President Naveen Pourwal highlighted the foundation’s commitment to organizing public welfare initiatives. He noted that the Delhi-NCR region is currently facing severe pollution, which affects both the present generation and poses risks for the future. Pourwal emphasized that the mask distribution camp is a step toward immediate mitigation of health risks posed by air pollution and reiterated that similar camps would be conducted in the future if required.
The event saw active participation from various officials and volunteers associated with the foundation. Dr. Shailendra Pourwal, Vice President; Radha Krishna Garg and Sudhir Pourwal, Trustees; Aman Chauhan, Secretary; Surendra Garg, Uday Singh, Shashank Gupta, General Secretary; BJP Mandal President Shashidhar Upadhyay; Mandal General Secretary P.C. Pancholi; Vireesh Pal, Anoop Singh, Yash Gupta, Niket Mishra, Sahil Saini, Suraj Singh, Mithilesh Singh; Suresh Gupta (Former President, Agrawal Mitra Mandal); and Dharmveer Bansal were also present at the camp.

The foundation emphasized that initiatives like these not only provide immediate relief by supplying protective masks but also raise awareness about the health hazards of pollution. Such proactive measures aim to encourage citizens to adopt preventive practices and contribute to broader efforts in reducing pollution-related risks in urban areas.
