The elections of the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of Sector 42 were successfully conducted today under the supervision of Election Officer Rajesh Lohani, marking an important democratic exercise for the residents of the sector. The polling process was completed peacefully, with active participation from residents and office bearers, reflecting strong community engagement in local governance.
The key contest in the elections was held for the post of General Secretary. In a closely watched contest, Chaudhary BC Pradhan emerged victorious, defeating Sunil Gambhir by a substantial margin. The decisive mandate received by Chaudhary BC Pradhan highlighted the confidence of residents in his leadership and vision for the sector’s development and welfare.
Apart from the General Secretary’s post, several other positions in the RWA were filled unopposed, indicating a broad consensus among residents. Pradeep Chauhan was elected as President without contest, while Rajeev Dhiman was elected as Vice President. Nikhil Kashyap was chosen as Joint Secretary, and Hareram Pandey was elected as Treasurer. The unopposed election of these office bearers underscored unity among the residents and trust in the leadership team.
