A high level review meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Meerut Divisional Commissioner Bhanu Chandra Goswami at the airport auditorium regarding preparations for the proposed inauguration of Noida International Airport Jewar. The meeting was attended by district officials and representatives of concerned departments. During the meeting detailed discussions were held to review the progress of preparations and ensure coordination among departments. The Divisional Commissioner directed all officials to work in coordination and complete preparations in a time bound manner while maintaining high standards of organization and execution. The District Magistrate presented a detailed progress report through a presentation, following which necessary instructions were issued to improve arrangements.
Focus on Security Traffic and Logistics
During the meeting arrangements related to the stage, inauguration venue and rally site were reviewed in detail. The Divisional Commissioner emphasized the importance of strong security arrangements including CCTV monitoring, parking management, invitation handling and shuttle bus services. He directed officials to ensure proper planning for VIP and VVIP movement and to strengthen traffic management systems. Instructions were also given to install clear signage at key locations including parking areas, entry gates, route plans, control rooms, medical camps and public announcement systems. Officials were directed to implement a micro parking plan at entry points to ensure smooth and quick security checks. Responsibilities of nodal officers for various arrangements including stage management, parking, crowd control and control rooms were also assigned.
Presentation and Event Coverage Planning
The Divisional Commissioner instructed that LED screens at the venue should display high quality content related to tourism potential, cultural heritage, natural beauty and One District One Product initiatives of the state. He also directed that information about the airport project should be presented effectively through visuals and videos. Instructions were given to ensure wide media coverage of the event and to prepare a short documentary film highlighting the importance and scale of the inauguration program.
Coordination and Timely Execution Emphasized
Officials were directed to strictly follow protocol guidelines and complete all arrangements within the stipulated timeline. The Divisional Commissioner stressed the need for coordination among departments to avoid any gaps in preparation. He also instructed officials to keep emergency and contingency plans ready and ensure repair of roads, cleanliness and smooth traffic management well in advance of the event. District Magistrate Medha Rupam assured that all instructions given during the meeting would be implemented effectively and preparations would be completed on time.
The meeting was attended by senior officials including Yamuna Authority ACEO Rakesh Kumar Singh, Chief Development Officer Dr Shivakant Dwivedi, Additional Commissioners Amit Kumar and Brijesh, ADM Atul Kumar, ADM Manglesh Dubey, ADM Bacchu Singh, ACEO Planning Rajesh Kumar, Airport Nodal Officer Shailendra Bhatia, DCP Traffic Dr Praveen Ranjan, ACP Jewar Sarthak Sengar and other officials.
