The review meeting of the Regulatory Review Committee of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council was successfully held at the Collectorate auditorium in Gautam Buddh Nagar under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chairman Ashwini Tyagi. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted on ten निर्धारित agenda points with officials from various departments of the district.
The meeting included comprehensive discussions with officials from the three development authorities, police department, revenue department, health department, transport department, public works department, education department, and other concerned departments. Key issues reviewed included action taken on letters received from members of the legislative body since 2024, progress on development proposals submitted by public representatives, and the status of disposal of correspondence received from जनप्रतिनिधि.

The committee also reviewed compliance with protocol during government programs, the availability and maintenance of public representative registers in departments, and cases related to protocol violations. In addition, the meeting examined details of major government programs conducted at the district level and the implementation status of various schemes run by the state government.
Hon’ble Chairman Ashwini Tyagi directed officials to ensure timely and effective action on communications received from public representatives. He emphasized that all information sought by the committee must be provided within the निर्धारित timelines to maintain transparency and accountability in governance.
The committee further reviewed the status of submission of property details by officials and employees on the Human Sampada portal, as well as the action taken on corruption-related complaints. It was clearly stated that pending matters related to public interest must be resolved on priority, and all departments must function in accordance with the intent of the government by ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely execution of tasks.

Additionally, the committee issued directions for verification of sanitation workers and instructed officials to ensure 100% coverage of Ayushman cards for eligible beneficiaries. These measures aim to strengthen welfare delivery and improve administrative efficiency at the grassroots level.
The District Magistrate briefed the Hon’ble Chairman about the actions taken so far and assured that all directions issued during the meeting would be implemented effectively through the concerned departments.
The meeting was attended by committee members including Pawan Kumar Singh, Dharmendra Bhardwaj, Virendra Singh, Omprakash Singh, Member of Legislative Council Shrichand Sharma, Dinesh Kumar Goyal, District President Gautam Buddh Nagar Abhishek Sharma, District Magistrate Medha Rupam, along with other district-level officials.
The बैठक concluded with a strong emphasis on improving governance systems, ensuring compliance with legislative directives, and addressing public grievances efficiently.
