In view of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Day–2026 celebrations, the district administration has intensified preparations to ensure the event is organized smoothly and on a grand scale. A detailed review meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Shivakant Dwivedi at the auditorium of Noida Shilp Haat, where senior officials from the administration, police, and development authorities participated.
Uttar Pradesh Day–2026 will be celebrated from January 24 to January 26, 2026, at Noida Shilp Haat. The event aims to commemorate the historical foundation of Uttar Pradesh and showcase the state’s cultural, social, and developmental achievements to the public.
Theme and Scope of the Event
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Development Officer informed officials that this year’s Uttar Pradesh Day celebrations will be organized on the theme “Developed Uttar Pradesh – Developed India.” As per government directions, the main state-level function will be held in Lucknow, while Gautam Buddh Nagar district has selected Noida Shilp Haat as its primary venue for district-level celebrations.

He stated that the three-day event will feature a wide range of cultural, literary, social, and development-oriented activities. Special emphasis will be given to providing a platform for local artists, writers, craftsmen, youth, and cultural groups to present their talent and contributions.
Review of Departmental Preparations
During the review meeting, officials from various departments presented updates on the preparations completed so far. The Chief Development Officer instructed all departments to ensure that exhibitions, seminars, cultural programs, competitions, and felicitation ceremonies are organized in a coordinated and time-bound manner.
He further directed that the programs should meaningfully incorporate important occasions falling during the same period, including Youth Day, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti, National Tourism Day, Voter Awareness Day, and Republic Day. According to him, integrating these themes would add greater relevance and public participation to the celebrations.

Exhibitions and Recognition Programs
The administration plans to set up attractive exhibitions at Noida Shilp Haat focusing on initiatives such as One District One Product (ODOP), startups, ease of doing business, Mission Shakti, tourism, art and culture, historical heritage, and various government welfare schemes. These exhibitions are intended to highlight the progress and opportunities available in Uttar Pradesh.
In addition, individuals who have made outstanding contributions in different fields will be honored during the event. This includes youth, women, farmers, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, and other talented individuals who have excelled through innovation, dedication, and social contribution.
On-Site Inspection of Arrangements
Following the review meeting, Chief Development Officer Shivakant Dwivedi conducted an on-site inspection of the preparations at Noida Shilp Haat along with officials from the administration, police, and development authorities. During the inspection, he reviewed arrangements related to the event venue, stage setup, exhibition areas, security, cleanliness, and traffic management.
He issued necessary instructions to concerned officers to address any gaps immediately and ensure that all arrangements are completed well in advance. Emphasis was placed on maintaining safety, smooth visitor movement, and a clean and welcoming environment for participants and visitors.

Emphasis on Coordination and Public Participation
The Chief Development Officer described Uttar Pradesh Day–2026 as more than just a celebration, calling it a powerful platform to showcase the state’s identity, pride, and development journey. He urged all departments to work with full responsibility and mutual coordination so that the event becomes inclusive, well-organized, and memorable for the public.
He stressed that active public participation and efficient inter-departmental coordination would be key to making the celebrations a success and ensuring that the message of a developed Uttar Pradesh reaches every section of society.
Officials Present at the Meeting
Several senior officials attended the meeting and inspection, including ACEO Yamuna Development Authority Rajesh Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Manglesh Dubey, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Jewar Abhay Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dadri Anuj Nehra, District Development Officer Shiv Pratap Parmesh, District Social Welfare Officer Satish Kumar, Senior Manager Noida Dori Lal, District Basic Education Officer Rahul Pawar, District Employment Officer Manisha Atri, In-charge Sports Officer Parvez Ali, and Chief Veterinary Officer Arun Kumar.
Senior officers from various authorities, the police department, and multiple wings of the district administration were also present.
The district administration expressed confidence that with timely execution and coordinated efforts, Uttar Pradesh Day–2026 in Gautam Buddh Nagar will emerge as a well-organized and impactful event reflecting the state’s cultural richness and developmental vision.
