Reham Foundation distributed nutrition kits to TB patients at Bisrakh Community Health Center, promoting awareness about timely medication and complete treatment adherence.
Gautam Buddh Nagar, 19 February 2026 – Reham Foundation Ghaziabad organized a nutrition kit distribution program today at Bisrakh Community Health Center, Noida, targeting TB patients. The program aimed to raise awareness about proper nutrition, timely medication intake, and disease prevention. District TB Officer Dr RP Singh, Medical Superintendent Dr Sachindra Mishra, DPC Ambuj Pandey, Ravindra Rathi, Shilpa Arora, Satyarth Rai, and other health officials attended the event.
Around 50 TB patients received nutrition kits. The kits contained essential food items rich in protein, vitamins, and energy to improve immunity and support recovery. District TB Officer emphasized that patients must take medication on time and complete the full prescribed course to ensure effective treatment and prevent transmission to others.
Health officials educated patients and their families about TB symptoms, preventive measures, hygiene, and balanced nutrition. They highlighted that successful TB treatment requires not only medication but also proper nutrition, lifestyle changes, and regular health monitoring. Family members were encouraged to participate in disease prevention to reduce the risk of TB transmission within households.
Patients expressed relief and satisfaction upon receiving the kits and pledged to follow prescribed medication and health guidelines. The initiative helped develop a positive mindset towards treatment and provided mental support for patients during recovery.
