Noida is all set to welcome nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers as the Jungle Trail Park prepares to open its gates on December 1. The park, located between the Mahamaya Flyover and Okhla Bird Sanctuary in Sector 95, promises a unique blend of environmental education, art, and adventure. What sets this park apart are over 650 wildlife sculptures crafted entirely from scrap and metal, including representations of dinosaurs, rhinos, crocodiles, pythons, monkeys, and a variety of birds, designed to educate visitors about wildlife conservation and the importance of sustainable practices.
The park is intended to provide residents and tourists a closer connection to nature, combining leisure, learning, and interactive experiences. Noida MLA Pankaj Singh will inaugurate the park formally, which has been developed on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Prior to the official opening, the park was open for trial visits. Visitors can access the park from the entry gate beneath the Mahamaya Flyover. The park’s launch marks a significant addition to Noida’s recreational and educational infrastructure, catering to both families and adventure enthusiasts.
Adventure, Learning, and Sustainable Art
According to Dr. Lokesh M, CEO of the Noida Authority, the park offers more than just wildlife sculptures. It is designed as an adventure hub, with activities including rock climbing, zip-lining, zip-cycling, and other jungle-themed adventure games integrated into the trail. The park, spread over 18.27 acres, was constructed at a cost of ₹25 crore, with the aim of combining environmental awareness with outdoor activities. Small sculptures of birds and other creatures add intricate artistic details, offering an immersive experience for visitors of all ages.
Construction of the park began in June 2024 under the PPP model. The park has been thoughtfully divided into three zones to ensure a comprehensive experience. The first zone includes parking facilities capable of accommodating eight buses and 76 four-wheelers, an amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 1,000, a food court, and an exhibition area. The second zone, spanning 8.77 acres, features tropical rainforests, grasslands, and wetland areas, highlighting various ecosystems and encouraging environmental learning. The third zone, covering 5.45 acres, includes the Ice Land Ocean, Temperate Forest, and Polar Region sections, giving visitors a glimpse of global habitats and biodiversity.
Visitor Experience and Entry Details
Entry to the Jungle Trail Park will be priced at ₹118, with payments accepted both online and in cash at the gate. The park is designed to cater to families, school groups, and adventure enthusiasts alike, combining leisure, learning, and hands-on experiences with environmental conservation themes. By integrating art, education, and adventure, the park aims to raise awareness about wildlife protection and sustainability while offering an engaging recreational space for residents and tourists.
The Jungle Trail Park is expected to become a major attraction in Noida, drawing visitors from across the region and enhancing the city’s profile as a hub for eco-tourism and innovative recreational spaces. Through its creative use of scrap materials to depict wildlife, the park not only provides entertainment but also delivers a strong message on recycling, sustainability, and the importance of preserving biodiversity. With its combination of adventure activities, educational zones, and artistic installations, the park promises a memorable experience for visitors of all ages while promoting environmental consciousness.
This development reinforces Noida Authority’s commitment to creating spaces that blend recreation, adventure, and environmental education, setting a benchmark for urban ecological initiatives and sustainable public spaces in India.
