Noida, December 17, 2025:
In a significant step towards promoting social responsibility and public health, the Noida Employees Association, under the aegis of the Noida Authority, organised a blood donation camp at the Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra in Sector 6, Noida. The camp was conducted in collaboration with Child PGI Noida and witnessed active participation from employees of the Noida Authority.

The blood donation camp was formally inaugurated by Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Noida Authority, Vandana Tripathi. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, she encouraged authority employees to actively participate in blood donation drives and contribute towards saving lives. She described blood donation as a “great donation” and stressed that a healthy individual should donate blood at regular intervals, as blood has no alternative and remains an essential requirement in medical emergencies.

Vandana Tripathi also appreciated the efforts of the Noida Employees Association for taking up such a meaningful initiative. She said that organising blood donation camps reflects the association’s commitment towards social welfare and community service. She added that such initiatives not only help patients in need but also strengthen the sense of responsibility and solidarity among employees.

The camp saw enthusiastic participation from Noida Authority staff members, many of whom voluntarily came forward to donate blood. Medical professionals from Child PGI Noida ensured that the blood donation process was carried out smoothly and safely, following all prescribed medical protocols. Donors were medically examined before donation, and adequate arrangements were made to ensure their comfort and well-being during and after the process.

According to organisers, a total of 40 units of blood were successfully collected during the camp. The donated blood is expected to benefit patients undergoing treatment at hospitals and those in urgent need, particularly in cases of accidents, surgeries and serious medical conditions. Officials noted that such camps play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the demand and supply of blood.

Several senior officials and office bearers of the Noida Employees Association were present at the event. Among those in attendance were Financial Controller Nijilingappa, Director Horticulture Anand Mohan Singh, Deputy General Manager V.K. Rawal, Deputy Director Horticulture Rajendra Singh, Association President Chandra Rajkumar Singh, General Secretary Jitendra Kumar, Vice President Dharmendra Sharma, Secretary Neeraj Rana, Amit Kumar, Treasurer Subhash Chandra and other members of the association.

Association office bearers stated that the objective of the camp was not only to collect blood but also to spread awareness about the importance of regular blood donation. They said that many lives can be saved if healthy individuals come forward and donate blood voluntarily. The association also expressed gratitude to the Noida Authority leadership and Child PGI Noida for their support in making the camp a success.

Employees who participated in the camp expressed satisfaction at being part of a humanitarian cause. Several donors said that such initiatives should be organised regularly to ensure the availability of blood for those in need and to encourage more people to overcome hesitation related to blood donation.
The successful organisation of the blood donation camp once again highlighted the role of the Noida Employees Association in promoting social initiatives beyond routine administrative responsibilities. Officials indicated that similar welfare-oriented programmes would continue to be organised in the future, with the aim of contributing positively to society and supporting critical healthcare needs.
