On the occasion of completing one year of the Delhi government, CM Rekha Gupta launched multiple public welfare projects at District Park, Shalimar Bagh. She shared details of ₹250 crore worth of local development works and thousands of crores in major projects in her constituency. She credited the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and public support for these achievements.

Childhood Memories and Political Struggles

CM Rekha Gupta recalled her childhood memories, saying that a simple girl from Trinagar-Pitam Pura never imagined serving Delhi at the highest level. She highlighted that despite electoral setbacks, public trust remained her priority. She called BJP’s return to power in Delhi after 27 years a victory of public aspirations, emphasizing that it represents not just political change, but a commitment to development.

Local and Major Development Projects

In Shalimar Bagh, around ₹250 crore worth of development works have been started or completed, including redevelopment of District Park, new gates, fountains, toilets, footpaths, and public amenities. Major projects include a proposed ₹5,000 crore elevated road on Munak Canal, canal beautification, Chhath Ghat, modern auditorium, model schools, new community halls, extended Ayurvedic hospital, upgraded mother-child center, and new sports complexes.

Infrastructure Improvements Across the Constituency

The CM emphasized comprehensive improvements in roads, drains, street lighting, parks, and markets to ensure inclusive development. She highlighted Delhi’s progress towards a modern, clean, and environment-friendly future through flyovers, metro expansion, and electric buses.

PM Guidance and Public Trust

CM Rekha Gupta acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an inspiration, stating that his guidance motivates continuous public service. She stressed that the journey reflects not only government initiatives but also public trust and the dedication of party workers.

Future Commitments and Gratitude

In closing, the CM emotionally addressed residents, stating that Shalimar Bagh will always remain like family to her. She reiterated her commitment to new projects, ongoing inaugurations, and accelerated development. She expressed gratitude to citizens, workers, and colleagues, affirming that public support remains her greatest strength in building a developed and dignified Delhi.
