The three-day Uttar Pradesh Day 2026, held from 24 to 26 January at Shilp Haat, Sector 33A, Noida, concluded today with grandeur. The event aimed to effectively showcase the state’s rich history, cultural heritage, and development journey to the general public. The closing ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of BJP National Spokesperson (Economic Affairs) Gopal Krishna Agrawal.
On the occasion, cultural and patriotic performances by school children mesmerized the audience. The performances reflected the state’s rich cultural heritage, love for the nation, social values, and unity, earning enthusiastic applause from the spectators.
The Chief Guest, Gopal Krishna Agrawal, said that Uttar Pradesh Day provides a strong platform to display the state’s glorious traditions, cultural heritage, and new directions in development. He highlighted that under the leadership of the state government, Uttar Pradesh continues to set new milestones in development, investment, law and order, and public welfare. Such events play a crucial role in connecting the public with government schemes.
Chief Development Officer Dr. Shivakant Dwivedi said that events like Uttar Pradesh Day provide a platform for multiple departments to showcase welfare schemes in one place. He added that public participation during the three-day event was highly encouraging, with large numbers of visitors benefiting from detailed information provided at departmental stalls. He also appreciated the efforts of all departments, officials, and staff who contributed to the success of the event.

Officials and staff who made outstanding contributions were honoured with certificates of appreciation. A booklet highlighting the achievements of the past nine years under the theme “Viksit Uttar Pradesh, Viksit Bharat – Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” was also released.
The Chief Guest visited stalls of various departments, including the Police Department, Health Department, Agriculture Department, and Greater Noida Development Authority. At the Health Department stall, he personally got his blood tested to raise public awareness about health.
During the three-day event, approximately 120 departmental stalls were set up at Shilp Haat. These included displays on the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, startups, Mission Shakti, women empowerment, tourism, education, health, sanitation, welfare for persons with disabilities, rural livelihood mission, and village industries, among other welfare schemes. A large number of visitors toured the stalls and received detailed information about the initiatives.

District Social Welfare Officer Satish Kumar said the event effectively showcased Uttar Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage, handicrafts, folk culture, and development journey. He formally announced the conclusion of Uttar Pradesh Day 2026.
