Noida, December 29, 2025:
The New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA Authority) carried out an extensive inspection drive on December 29 under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Lokesh M. The inspection covered key areas including Sectors 94 to 127 and Gaushala Sector-135, with the objective of reviewing infrastructure conditions, traffic management, environmental cleanliness, and public safety arrangements.
The inspection was attended by senior officials of the Authority, including Additional Chief Executive Officer A.K. Arora, Additional CEO R.S. Singh, Deputy CEO Vijay Rawal, Senior Manager (Work Circle-9) and Project Engineer (Civil-1). During the inspection, the CEO reviewed ground-level conditions and issued multiple instructions for immediate corrective and improvement measures.

During the visit, it was observed that several roads in Sectors 124 to 127 require modification and resurfacing. The concerned departments were directed to prepare a detailed modification plan and initiate resurfacing work at the earliest to ensure smooth traffic movement and commuter safety. In addition, damaged and uneven footpaths were found at several locations. Officials were instructed to lower and repair old footpaths to ensure pedestrian convenience and prevent accidents.
The Authority also emphasized the importance of maintaining greenery and cleanliness along major roads. Directions were issued for trimming trees and washing main roads from Sector 94 to Sector 127. To improve night visibility and enhance safety, officials were asked to submit a proposal for installing low-height street lights in the concerned areas.
During the inspection, it was observed that overloaded sand trucks were operating between Sectors 94 and 126. Taking serious note of this violation, the CEO directed the District Magistrate and DCP Traffic to take strict action against such vehicles to prevent road damage and traffic hazards.
With air pollution levels in mind, special instructions were issued to IT companies operating in the area to strictly follow GRAP guidelines. They were directed to ensure that at least 50 percent of their staff work from home during the GRAP period. Officials were also instructed to conduct site inspections to verify compliance.

To maintain cleanliness, the Authority directed that roads and footpaths in the inspected sectors be washed at least three times a day. Traffic congestion caused by unauthorized parking was also reviewed. In view of increasing traffic pressure, instructions were given to regulate parking on main roads and develop a puzzle parking system to improve traffic flow.
Further, improvement plans were sought for the MP-3 road as well as the Harola industrial road, which are vital connectivity routes for the area. The Authority emphasized the need for timely execution of these plans to enhance infrastructure and ease of movement.
The inspection also included a visit to gaushalas located in Sectors 14 and 135. Arrangements for protection of cattle during winter were reviewed and found satisfactory. Officials were directed to ensure adequate availability of fodder, medicines, and other essential supplies for the cattle.
The inspection reflects the Noida Authority’s continued commitment towards improving infrastructure, strengthening traffic management, ensuring environmental cleanliness, and providing better civic amenities for residents and businesses alike.
