Chief Executive Officer of the Noida Authority Krishna Karunesh conducted an extensive inspection of various sectors in the city to review sanitation, drainage, and civic maintenance works. During the inspection, General Manager Civil S P Singh and senior managers from different work circles accompanied him.
Several deficiencies were identified during the visit, including garbage piles, debris, damaged drains, and poor maintenance of public spaces. Taking serious note of these issues, the CEO issued strict instructions and ordered disciplinary action against responsible personnel.

At Sector 8 near E 9, a large pile of debris was found. Following the inspection, sanitation workers Rahul and Soni along with Health Supervisor Shriprakash Mishra were directed to be terminated from service. Junior Engineer Harendra Malik was also penalized with a ten day salary deduction.
The CEO also instructed officials to examine the possibility of covering major drains in Noida and developing vending zones over them. This initiative aims to improve land utilization and enhance urban infrastructure.
During the inspection, several damaged drains were observed at different locations. Officials were directed to carry out immediate repairs. In Sector 11 near H Block Market, instructions were issued to install precast slabs over the drain and connect the pathway.
In Sector 55, debris was found near a tripod area, and immediate cleaning was ordered. The CEO also directed officials to improve service road connectivity near the Radisson Blu hotel in the same sector.
In Sector 57 near C 4 and the area around C 60 to C 63, large amounts of garbage and debris were found. As a result, sanitation supervisor Azad posted in the area was ordered to be removed from service.
Garbage was also noticed in the central verge near Khoda, and immediate cleaning instructions were issued. In Sector 62, horticultural waste and fallen leaves were found scattered on the roads, prompting directions for urgent cleaning.
A service road in Sector 62 was found closed and filled with garbage. Officials were directed to reopen the road and ensure regular cleaning. The CEO also ordered construction of a footpath over the drain passing through Sector 62.
During the inspection, several stray cows were seen roaming on roads in Sector 62. Authorities were directed to launch a special campaign to shift these animals to nearby shelters. The Barat Ghar in Sector 62 was also inspected, and officials were instructed to carry out renovation work. Beautification work was also ordered near Fortis Hospital in the same sector.
In Sector 63, garbage including dried leaves and branches was found in the central verge along internal roads. Additionally, a drain in the sector was found clogged with large amounts of waste. Following this, sanitation worker Dharamveer and supervisor Akash were ordered to be removed from service. The manager was issued a warning and a notice was ordered to be issued to blacklist the contractor responsible for the area.
Near village Barola, illegal encroachments were found where people had constructed huts on authority land along the 75 meter wide road near the metro corridor. Officials were directed to remove the encroachments as per legal procedures.
A broken drain wall along the 75 meter road parallel to Sector 107 was also identified. Additionally, exposed iron rods at the entrance of a housing society were found to be a safety risk. Immediate corrective action was ordered.
On the Noida Greater Noida Expressway near the entry from Amity School, the surface of the service road was found badly damaged. Officials were instructed to conduct urgent patch repair work.
Illegal huts built within green belt areas were also noticed and officials were directed to remove them as per regulations.
The CEO also expressed dissatisfaction with the door to door garbage collection system and ordered a penalty of ₹5 lakh on the agency A G Enviro Infra Project Private Limited responsible for the service.
Further instructions were issued to conduct a survey of all Barat Ghars in Noida and carry out renovation work wherever necessary. The authority was also directed to make all left turns smoother for traffic movement, repair drain covers after a detailed survey, and ensure proper maintenance and regular cleaning of all bus stops in the city.
The CEO instructed all work circles to ensure that garbage collection from all areas of the city is completed by 10:00 am every day without fail to maintain cleanliness across Noida.
