March 2026, Noida
The executive committee of the Federation of Noida Resident Welfare Associations held a meeting in which several issues related to city management were discussed. During the meeting, it was decided that a large-scale cleanliness drive will be organized across Noida on March 15.
The campaign will be conducted with the support of the Noida Authority and active participation from various Resident Welfare Associations representing different sectors of the city.
FONRWA General Secretary K K Jain said that the objective of the campaign is to promote awareness about cleanliness and encourage citizens to actively participate in maintaining a clean urban environment.
He stated that FONRWA has regularly organized awareness drives in collaboration with RWAs across Noida to promote sanitation and public cleanliness. These initiatives aim to inform citizens about the importance of maintaining a clean environment and motivate them to contribute to building a clean, healthy, and beautiful city.
Under this campaign, special cleaning activities will be conducted in various sectors, residential societies, markets, parks, and public places throughout the city. Volunteers and residents will work together to clean public areas and improve sanitation conditions.
The campaign will also focus on educating citizens about waste segregation. Residents will be encouraged to separate wet and dry waste at the source so that waste management processes can become more efficient.
In addition, awareness will be spread regarding reducing the use of plastic and maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. Citizens will be urged not to litter and to take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean.
FONRWA has also requested cooperation from the police department and the district administration. Authorities have been asked to conduct similar cleanliness activities in police stations, police outposts, and other government offices to strengthen the impact of the campaign.
According to the organizers, the initiative is not intended to be just a one-day activity but a step toward building a long-term culture of cleanliness in the city.
FONRWA has appealed to all RWAs, social organizations, and citizens of Noida to actively participate in the campaign and contribute to improving sanitation in their respective areas.
The organization believes that collective participation and awareness can significantly improve urban cleanliness and help develop a sustainable culture of civic responsibility across the city.
