Noida, December 22, 2025:
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote employee welfare and occupational health, the Noida Authority, in collaboration with ICare Eye Hospital, organised a comprehensive eye check-up camp for employees on Monday at the AG Enviro premises in Sector-8. The initiative was aimed at ensuring early detection of eye-related ailments, improving workplace health standards, and creating greater awareness about eye care among workers.
The check-up camp witnessed active participation from employees working at the AG Enviro facility. During the camp, a complete and detailed eye examination of the employees was conducted by qualified ophthalmologists and trained medical staff from ICare Eye Hospital. The medical team carried out vision tests and other necessary assessments to identify common eye problems that can arise due to prolonged work exposure, environmental factors, or lack of timely medical attention.
Employees diagnosed with vision-related issues were provided free medicines and spectacles on the spot, ensuring immediate relief and follow-up care. In addition to medical treatment, the eye specialists also offered personalised consultations, advising employees on preventive eye care, proper use of spectacles, and lifestyle practices to maintain good eye health. Officials said such camps are particularly important for workers who spend long hours at worksites or in environments that may pose risks to eyesight.
Gaurav Bansal, Project Engineer (Public Health-1), visited the camp during the day to review the arrangements and interact with the employees. During his visit, Bansal emphasised the importance of health and safety at the workplace and encouraged all employees to remain vigilant about their personal well-being. He specifically advised workers to use appropriate safety equipment while performing their duties and to follow prescribed safety norms to minimise occupational hazards, including those that could affect their vision.
Bansal highlighted that preventive healthcare initiatives such as eye check-up camps not only help in early diagnosis of health issues but also contribute to improved productivity and overall quality of life for employees. He said the Noida Authority remains committed to organising similar welfare-oriented programmes in coordination with reputed medical institutions to safeguard the health of workers associated with various projects and facilities across the city.
Senior officials from AG Enviro were also present during the camp, reflecting the company’s support for employee health initiatives. Those in attendance included Suvendu Samantre, General Manager Projects; Prafull Kumar, Operations Head; Vikas Kumar, Operations Manager; and Ved Prakash, HR Manager. The officials coordinated with the medical team and ensured smooth conduct of the camp, facilitating the participation of employees throughout the day.
Representatives from AG Enviro said that employee health and safety remain a top priority for the organisation and that such collaborative initiatives with the Noida Authority and healthcare providers play a vital role in maintaining a healthy workforce. They added that regular medical check-ups help employees become more aware of their health status and encourage timely medical intervention when needed.
Officials from the Noida Authority noted that the eye check-up camp is part of a broader approach to integrate welfare measures with ongoing urban and environmental management activities. By addressing health concerns alongside infrastructure and public service delivery, the Authority aims to foster a more inclusive and responsible work culture.
The successful conduct of the eye check-up camp at Sector-8 was welcomed by employees, many of whom expressed appreciation for the free medical services, medicines, and spectacles provided during the programme. Several employees said the initiative helped them identify vision issues that they had previously overlooked and enabled them to seek timely corrective measures.
The Noida Authority reiterated that it will continue to collaborate with medical institutions and private partners to organise similar health camps in the future, ensuring that employee welfare remains an integral part of its public health and workplace safety strategy.
