Noida:
The MP Sports Competition, organized by the Youth Welfare Department and Sports Department of Gautam Buddh Nagar, was successfully held at Noida Stadium for Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories in both boys and girls divisions.
The event witnessed participation from winning athletes representing five assembly constituencies — Dadri, Jewar, Noida, Khurja, and Sikandrabad. Participants competed enthusiastically across multiple sporting events, showcasing strong sportsmanship and talent.

Eight Sports Disciplines Conducted
The competition included eight sports disciplines, namely athletics, volleyball, kabaddi, wrestling, badminton, weightlifting, judo, and football.
Athletes who secured top positions in the MP Sports Competition will now represent the district in the next level of competition scheduled in Meerut.
On March 10, 2026, competitions will be held at Vidya University, Baghpat Road, Meerut for both boys and girls in athletics, weightlifting, judo, badminton, and wrestling. In the girls’ category, additional competitions in volleyball, kabaddi, and football will also take place on the same day.

On March 11, 2026, boys’ category competitions will be conducted in volleyball, kabaddi, and football.
Sub-Junior Category Winners
In the Sub-Junior category, several athletes delivered outstanding performances.
In 45 kg wrestling, Krishna secured the first position. In the 51 kg category, Krish Sharma finished first, while Janvi secured the top position in the 59 kg category.
In athletics events, Ajamya secured first place in shot put, while Lucky finished first in javelin throw.

In team events, the football girls’ team of Government Girls Inter College, Sector 51, emerged victorious. In kabaddi (boys category), the Noida team secured the first position.
Junior Category Winners
In the Junior category, Lucky secured the first position in the 67 kg weightlifting category, while Bhavishya finished first in the 55 kg weight category.
In 57 kg judo, Charu Kaushik secured the first position. In athletics, Manav finished first in the 100-meter race, while Ankush Singh secured first place in shot put.
Radhika won first place in long jump, while Avni Bhati secured the top position in javelin throw. Rohit finished first in high jump.
In the team event of kabaddi, the Noida team again secured the first position.

Senior Category Winners
In the Senior category, Taliv secured the first position in the 67 kg weightlifting category, while Arun Kumar finished first in the 73 kg weight category.
In 50 kg judo, Suryansh secured the first position. Kajal finished first in shot put.
In track events, Khushi Yadav secured the first position in the 500-meter race. In the 1500-meter boys’ race, Prince Kumar secured the top position, while Chanchal finished first in the 400-meter race in the girls’ category.
In kabaddi, the Sikandrabad team secured the first position.
Awards and Felicitation
Athletes from the five assembly constituencies actively participated in the eight sporting disciplines and demonstrated excellent performances throughout the competition.
All winning players were honoured by MP Representative Sanjay Bali, who presented them with medals, T-shirts, and tracksuits, encouraging and motivating the athletes for their future competitions.

The event was attended by In-charge/District Sports Officer Parvez Ali, District Youth Welfare Officer Mahipal Singh, Balchand Nagar from the Sports Department, along with all staff members of the Youth Welfare Department.
