Students of IMS Noida marked Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day with a series of academic, cultural, and creative activities on campus. The celebrations began on Wednesday and will continue until Saturday under the aegis of the institute’s Extension and Outreach Cell. The multi-day programme aims to connect students with the rich cultural heritage, history, and developmental journey of Uttar Pradesh.
On the opening day, students actively participated in various events, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm through educational, cultural, and creative platforms. Focus on Leadership and Cultural Awareness
Inaugurating the programme, Director General of IMS Noida Vikas Dhawan emphasized the importance of such events in holistic student development. He said that celebrations like Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day play a vital role in nurturing leadership qualities, teamwork, creative thinking, and a sense of pride in one’s cultural identity.
He added that the objective of the programme is to familiarize students with the state’s rich cultural traditions, historical significance, and ongoing development journey. Programme coordinator Varsha Chhabaria explained the details of the day’s activities.
