A high-level delegation of eight members from Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, visited the Indira Gandhi Art Centre, Sector-6, Noida today to explore investment, business, cultural, educational, and tourism opportunities in Uttar Pradesh. The delegation was led by Deputy Governor Junichi Ishidora.

The delegation was received by Vandana Tripathi, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Noida Authority, along with other senior officials. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on industrial and cultural opportunities in Noida and toured key investment and industrial areas to understand potential prospects.
Noida Authority assured full support for a planned meeting in August 2026, which will involve an official delegation of nearly 200 members from prestigious Japanese companies and organizations interested in investing in Uttar Pradesh.

The August meeting will also see participation from prominent Uttar Pradesh companies, investors, senior officials, and dignitaries. This initiative aims to strengthen investment and business cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Japan. The delegation appreciated the investment opportunities in Noida’s industrial and cultural sectors and considered potential expansion of Japanese business in the state.
During discussions, both parties emphasized cooperation in cultural, educational, and tourism sectors. The Authority shared information on Noida’s investment-friendly environment and development plans. The delegation paid special attention to potential collaboration in technology and industrial sectors.
The main objective of the visit was to establish a long-term partnership. The delegation praised the Authority’s plans and future development projects, while the Authority assured full support for Japanese investments and projects.
This delegation visit is expected to create new opportunities for Japanese investment and industrial expansion in Uttar Pradesh. The upcoming meeting will further strengthen trade, investment, and cultural cooperation between the two regions.
