The arrest was carried out by the Beta-2 Police Station team on Friday. Following the arrest, Bhasin was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court in Surajpur, where the court ordered his remand to judicial custody for 14 days.
According to police officials, the case against Bhasin dates back to 2015 and involves allegations of financial fraud. While detailed specifics of the case have not been publicly disclosed, authorities confirmed that the arrest was made after due legal process and investigation into the matter.
Officials stated that the accused had been under scrutiny for several years in connection with the case. After gathering sufficient evidence and completing procedural requirements, the police moved forward with the arrest.
After being presented in court, the judiciary directed that Bhasin be sent to jail under judicial custody for a period of 14 days. During this time, further legal proceedings in the case are expected to continue.

Police sources indicated that further investigation into the matter is ongoing and additional details may emerge as the case progresses through the judicial system.
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to taking strict action in cases involving financial irregularities and fraud. Officials emphasized that all individuals, regardless of their status, are subject to the law and due process.
