Addressing the gathering at the inauguration of the Pandit Deendayal Cancer Hospital, Mohan Bhagwat underlined that such essential services should be available close to where people live, so that no family is forced into distress simply because of distance, cost, or lack of facilities.
Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks came against the backdrop of rising healthcare costs and persistent disparities in access to medical and educational infrastructure across large parts of the country. He framed education and healthcare not as privileges for a few, but as basic requirements for a dignified life, arguing that society and institutions must work together to ensure these services are within everyone’s reach.
