Document verification of candidates applying for training under the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana for carpenter and mason trades will be conducted on February 11, 2026. This information was shared by Assistant Commissioner Industries, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Sweety Upadhyay.
She informed that applications received through the official online portal www.diupmsme.upsdc.gov.in/msme.up.gov.in are being processed, and document verification is the next step in the selection process. The verification will be carried out by a duly constituted committee on February 11 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Industries, District Industries Promotion and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Ecotech-2, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar, near Surajpur Collectorate.
Candidates are required to be physically present at the venue on the scheduled date and time for document verification. They must bring a copy of the online application form, one passport-size photograph, a photocopy of the Aadhaar card, a photocopy of the bank passbook clearly mentioning the account number and IFSC code, and a notarized affidavit on a Rs 10 stamp paper.
It was clarified that eligibility under the scheme is not based solely on caste. Individuals who do not belong to traditional artisan castes but are engaged in traditional artisan work are also eligible. Such applicants must submit a certificate issued by the village head, chairperson of the Nagar Panchayat, Nagar Palika, or the concerned ward member of the Municipal Corporation as proof of their association with traditional craftsmanship.
Eligible candidates have been advised to ensure timely attendance with all required documents to complete the verification process smoothly and avoid any inconvenience in the subsequent stages of training under the scheme.
