A three-day training program on Sustainable Development Goals and Mission Karmayogi concluded at the District Rural Development Institute in Dadri.
Gautam Buddh Nagar | March 13, 2026 — A three-day training program on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Mission Karmayogi concluded on Friday at the District Rural Development Institute in Dadri, Gautam Buddh Nagar.
The program was formally concluded by District Training Officer Dr. Priyanka Sharma. She informed that the training was conducted from March 11 to March 13, 2026, with participation from 31 trainees.
Focus on Sustainable Development Goals and Mission Karmayogi
During the training sessions, participants were briefed about the importance of Sustainable Development Goals, strategies adopted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for achieving these goals, and the concept of Mission Karmayogi.
Participants were also informed about the nine themes identified for localization of SDGs at the grassroots level.
Discussion on Panchayat Development Initiatives
The training included discussions on creating water-sufficient panchayats and clean and green panchayats through various government schemes and their effective implementation.
Participants were also guided on adopting low-cost and no-cost activities at the Gram Panchayat level to promote development initiatives.
Experts Conducted Interactive Sessions
The program featured expert sessions by trainers Hopendra Singh and Dr. Vijay Pal Singh, who shared valuable insights through lectures and interactive discussions on multiple topics related to rural development and sustainable governance.
Officials stated that the successful conduct of the program was made possible with the support of staff members of the District Rural Development Institute.
