Barabanki, 07 Sept (HS): In Uttar Pradesh, two persons were killed when a passenger bus collided with a parked iron rod-laden truck. The collision occurred in Barabanki late on Wednesday. Several other passengers were critically injured and sent to the hospital as a result of the tragedy. According to the data, the bus was carrying more than 24 passengers from Lucknow to Gonda at the time of the tragedy. Locals gathered at the scene told police of the accident, and medical assistance was dispatched.
Among those killed was the bus conductor’s son, who was also on board at the time of the tragedy. According to Ashutosh Mishra, Additional Superintendent of Police, the passenger bus rammed the stopped truck carrying iron rods. According to him, the iron rods ripped apart the bus, killing two people on the spot.
