New Delhi, 07 September (HS): Guests have started arriving in Delhi to participate in the G-20 summit. In this sequence, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth reached Delhi on Thursday. Jugnauth was welcomed by union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Tourism Shripad Naik at the Delhi airport.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted that Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth has reached Delhi today to participate in the G-20 summit. He is welcome in India. union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Tourism Shripad Naik welcomed Jugnauth at Delhi airport.
A meeting of G-20 countries is to be held in Delhi between 8th and 10th September. Leaders of 20 powerful countries of the world will participate in this meeting. In view of the G-20, security arrangements have been strengthened in Delhi and the national capital has been decorated in a grand manner.
US President Joe Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, Italian Prime Minister attended the G-20 summit. Giorgia Meloni, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol will participate.
As guest countries, the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, the President of Spain Pedro Sanchez, Prime Minister of Netherlands Mark Rutte, President of Nigeria Bola Ahmed. Tinubu, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Assad bin Tariq Al Said will participate.
Representatives of some global institutions are also reaching Delhi to participate in the G-20.
