According to Incholi police station SHO Jitendra Kumar Tripathi, the case was initiated based on a complaint filed by a local resident, Anees, as reported by news agency PTI. Jakati was booked under Section 296 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to obscene acts, as well as Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, which addresses publishing or transmitting obscene material online.
