Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar: Responding to the recent protests by industrial workers in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi stated that the government has taken the matter with utmost seriousness. A panel of senior अधिकारियों has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Industrial Development Commissioner to examine the issue and facilitate a resolution through dialogue with all stakeholders.

The minister emphasized that under the guidance of Narendra Modi and the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a model state in terms of industrial development. He noted that consistent policy decisions and governance efforts have contributed to positioning the state as a major growth engine of India.

Government Highlights Industrial Growth and Stability

According to the minister, Uttar Pradesh’s industrial progress is the result of sustained efforts by the government and active participation of all stakeholders, including investors, industrial units, and workers. He stated that the state has created a favorable environment for business and investment, attracting leading domestic and international companies.

The minister added that while investor interests remain important, the welfare of industrial workers and labourers is equally a priority for the government. He described the recent incident in Gautam Buddh Nagar as unfortunate and serious, reiterating the administration’s commitment to maintaining industrial peace.

Allegations of External Influence and Misinformation

Addressing the причины behind the protests, the minister alleged that disruptive elements linked to Samajwadi Party and Indian National Congress have, in the past, attempted to disturb law and order under the guise of protests. He stated that such elements may have played a role in instigating workers through rumors and misinformation.

He added that it cannot be ruled out that misleading narratives were used to provoke unrest, and such actions would be examined carefully as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Committee Engages Stakeholders for Resolution

The government-constituted committee has initiated discussions with representatives of worker unions, industry groups, and other stakeholders. The minister said that all aspects of the issue are being reviewed in detail, and efforts are underway to reach a balanced and appropriate solution at the earliest.

He подчеркнул that the government is committed to resolving the matter through constructive dialogue, ensuring that the concerns of workers are addressed while maintaining industrial stability.

Focus on Investment Climate and Economic Vision

Highlighting the broader economic vision, the minister stated that the government has spent nearly nine years building a strong and investment-friendly industrial ecosystem. As a result, Uttar Pradesh has become a preferred destination for investments, contributing to its ambition of becoming a one trillion dollar economy.

He stressed that maintaining a stable industrial environment is critical for sustaining growth and attracting further investments, which in turn generate employment opportunities and boost the state’s economy.

Warning Against Disruption and Appeal for Restraint

Issuing a strong warning, the minister said that any attempt by anti-social elements to disrupt the industrial environment or challenge the state’s progress will be dealt with strictly under the law. He подчеркнул that the government will not tolerate actions that threaten peace and stability.

At the same time, he appealed to all stakeholders, including workers, management, and political groups, to exercise restraint and patience. He urged everyone to cooperate with the administration and allow the committee to complete its work so that a fair and lasting solution can be achieved.

The statement reflects the government’s dual approach of ensuring strict law enforcement while promoting dialogue and cooperation to resolve the ongoing situation in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
