Devotees gathered in large numbers in Noida’s Sector 71 as soulful bhajans and cultural performances marked the 17th foundation day of Baba Balaknath temple.

Thousands of devotees immersed themselves in devotion and celebration as bhajans dedicated to Baba Balaknath resonated across Sector 71 on Saturday. The spiritual gathering was organized on the occasion of the 17th foundation day of the temple by Shiv Shakti Siddh Shri Baba Balaknath Welfare Society, drawing devotees from across the region.
The temple premises were packed with worshippers who arrived to witness the two-day religious and cultural program. On the concluding day, the atmosphere turned deeply spiritual as renowned Himachali devotional singer Ishant Bhardwaj and his troupe delivered a series of powerful bhajans that captivated the audience.
As the devotional songs echoed through the pandal, devotees were seen swaying and dancing in devotion. The soulful renditions created an environment charged with spiritual energy, with many devotees expressing that it felt as if Baba Balaknath himself had blessed the gathering with his divine presence.
Popular bhajans including “Niki Jeeni Guzari,” “Bindra Bana Bo Kheri Guzariyon,” and “Shiva Ji Ra Vasa” had the crowd on its feet. Chief Patron R.K. Sharma stated that the devotional segment began at 11 am and continued until 3 pm, during which Ishant Bhardwaj and his team presented a series of bhajans dedicated to Baba Balaknath. The devotional singing was followed by a colorful Himachali cultural program that further enthralled the audience.

Following the devotional and cultural performances, a grand bhandara was organized in the temple premises. The feast, prepared by cooks specially invited from Himachal Pradesh, featured a traditional Himachali dham. Organizers highlighted that the youth groups from Himachal Pradesh played a significant role in coordinating the event and ensuring smooth arrangements throughout the two-day celebration. Volunteers managed crowd movement, seating arrangements, and distribution of prasad efficiently, contributing to the event’s success.
