Yakubpur,
Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former minister Nawab Singh Nagar on Sunday participated in the listening programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio address ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Booth No. 731 under the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Mandal in village Yakubpur. The programme was organised at the residence of Mandal Vice President Umesh Bhati and witnessed the presence of several party workers and local supporters.
The gathering came together to collectively listen to the Prime Minister’s address, reflecting the party’s ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots engagement and connect workers directly with national leadership. The event was marked by enthusiasm among BJP workers, who described the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme as a platform that consistently inspires citizens across the country.
Addressing the workers after the broadcast, Nawab Singh Nagar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through ‘Mann Ki Baat’, establishes a direct and meaningful connection with every citizen of the country. He said the programme is not merely a radio address but a medium through which the Prime Minister shares ideas that encourage positive thinking, self-reliance, and a strong sense of service towards society.
Nagar said that the Prime Minister’s words have the power to energise society and motivate people to contribute constructively to nation-building. He noted that each episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ highlights issues of national importance while also acknowledging grassroots efforts, social initiatives, and inspiring stories from across the country. According to him, this inclusive approach makes citizens feel actively involved in the development journey of the nation.
The former minister further said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ plays a significant role in guiding the youth by offering clarity of purpose and direction. He said the Prime Minister’s emphasis on innovation, self-reliance, and social responsibility encourages young people to move forward with confidence and dedication. Nagar added that such messages are especially important in today’s times, as they help build a strong moral and social foundation among the younger generation.
Party workers present at the programme said that listening to ‘Mann Ki Baat’ together strengthens unity within the organisation and reinforces the ideological values of the BJP. They said the programme motivates them to work with renewed commitment at the grassroots level and to actively participate in social and developmental initiatives in their respective areas.
The event at Yakubpur was organised as part of the BJP’s regular outreach activities, under which party leaders and workers gather at booths and mandal levels to collectively listen to the Prime Minister’s address. Such programmes, party leaders said, help bridge the gap between national policies and local aspirations, ensuring that the messages delivered from the highest level of leadership reach every section of society.
Mandal Vice President Umesh Bhati, at whose residence the programme was organised, expressed satisfaction over the participation of senior leaders and workers. He said that hosting the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ listening programme at the booth level reflects the BJP’s strong organisational structure and its commitment to maintaining close contact with workers and citizens alike.
The programme concluded with discussions among party workers on the themes highlighted in the Prime Minister’s address and their relevance to local issues and community development. Leaders urged workers to carry forward the spirit of positivity, service, and self-reliance in their daily activities and to continue engaging with people at the grassroots level.
The BJP leadership reiterated that such collective listening programmes will continue to be organised regularly to ensure that the vision and message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reach every household and inspire citizens to contribute towards a stronger and more self-reliant India.
