Gautam Buddh Nagar, March 6, 2026:
A review meeting on the progress of the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign was held at the Collectorate auditorium in Gautam Buddh Nagar under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Shivakant Dwivedi. The meeting focused on assessing the implementation of the scheme and accelerating its progress to ensure that more youth in the district benefit from the initiative.
Regional managers of various banks operating in the district attended the meeting along with officials from concerned departments.
Progress of the Scheme Presented
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Industries Pankaj Nirwan presented a detailed report on the progress made under the scheme so far. He informed that the process of loan approval and disbursement is currently underway to connect youth with self-employment opportunities through financial assistance.
However, he pointed out that some banks have not achieved the expected level of progress in accordance with their assigned targets. This gap in performance has slowed down the pace at which eligible beneficiaries are receiving financial support under the scheme.

Instructions to Banks to Accelerate Loan Disbursement
Taking note of the situation, Chief Development Officer Shivakant Dwivedi directed all banks to ensure faster progress against their allocated targets. He emphasized that timely loan approvals and disbursements are essential to enable young entrepreneurs to establish their own ventures and become self-reliant.
Dwivedi instructed bank officials to work proactively and complete their targets as soon as possible so that a larger number of youth can benefit from the program.
He also directed banks to submit branch-wise progress reports. These reports will help authorities monitor the performance of individual branches and identify areas where improvements are needed.

Branch-Level Monitoring to Be Conducted
To strengthen implementation, officials announced that branch-wise reviews of banks will also be carried out. The monitoring process will help ensure accountability and encourage banks to meet their targets effectively.
Authorities stressed that the scheme plays a crucial role in promoting entrepreneurship among youth by providing financial support for self-employment ventures. Effective coordination between banks and government departments is therefore essential for the success of the program.
Emphasis on Regular Monitoring
At the conclusion of the meeting, officials were instructed to conduct regular reviews of the scheme’s implementation. Authorities also emphasized the need to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive loans within a defined timeframe.
Timely financial support will allow young entrepreneurs to establish businesses, generate employment opportunities, and contribute to local economic development.
Officials Present
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Industries Pankaj Nirwan, District Lead Bank Manager Rajesh Kataria, and officials from various departments along with representatives from participating banks.
Officials expressed confidence that with improved coordination and faster processing of loan applications, the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign will help empower youth in Gautam Buddh Nagar by supporting self-employment and entrepreneurship.
