Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad, September 13 : President Droupadi Murmu, in her address on Wednesday while inaugurating the e-Vidhan Sabha of Gujarat, termed it an excellent step for Gujarat and said that this Assembly will be transformed into a digital house. With the help of the application, it will be a great example for other legislative assemblies and legislative councils in the country, and they can also adopt it. This is progressive change. She congratulated the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat for taking the important step of e-Assembly.
With the Gujarat Assembly going digital, 25 tonnes of paper used in the assembly will be saved.
President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the e-Assembly in the Gujarat Assembly. On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary, and Parliamentary Minister Rushikesh Patel were present at the Assembly desk. With the Gujarat Assembly going digital, 25 tonnes of paper used in the assembly will be saved. BJP State President CR Patil and Congress State President Shakti Singh Gohil were also present on this occasion.

Talking about the ups and downs seen in the Assembly after the formation of Gujarat, Draupadi Murmu said that this House has always worked for the benefit of society.
