1. Transforming Urban Transport Infrastructure: Gurugram Metro Rail Project
In a significant move to enhance urban transport infrastructure, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Gurugram Metro Rail project, with an estimated cost of Rs 5450 crore. This project, covering a total length of 28.5 kilometers, will connect key areas such as Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-5, integrating seamlessly with the existing metro network of Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue station. It will also feature a spur at Dwarka Expressway, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of providing citizens with world-class, eco-friendly mass rapid urban transport systems.
2. Enhancing Healthcare Accessibility: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rewari
In line with the government’s commitment to bolstering public health infrastructure nationwide, the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rewari, will be laid. To be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 1650 crore, AIIMS Rewari will be spread over 203 acres of land and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. This includes a Hospital Complex with 720 beds, a Medical College with 100 seats, and a Nursing College with 60 seats, among other amenities. Established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), AIIMS Rewari aims to provide comprehensive, quality, and holistic tertiary care health services to the people of Haryana.
3. Promoting Cultural Heritage: Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar, Kurukshetra
Additionally, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the newly built Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar in Kurukshetra. This experiential museum, constructed at a cost of around Rs 240 crore, spans over 17 acres and offers over 100,000 square feet of indoor space. It will vividly bring to life the epic narrative of the Mahabharata and the teachings of the Gita, leveraging cutting-edge technology such as Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D laser to enhance visitors’ experience.
4. Revitalizing Rail Connectivity: Railway Projects for Improved Infrastructure
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation several crucial railway projects. These include the doubling of rail lines such as Rewari-Kathuwas, Kathuwas-Narnaul, Bhiwani-Dobh Bhali, and Manheru-Bawani Khera, aimed at augmenting rail infrastructure in the region. Additionally, the inauguration of the Rohtak-Meham-Hansi rail line, spanning 68 kilometers, will significantly reduce travel time between Rohtak and Hisar, benefiting both passengers and freight transport.
