Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to engage with 25,000 women at Kashi’s Sampurnanand Sanskrit University ground on Tuesday, where he will also hold an election rally in Prayagraj.

According to Navaratan Rathi, BJP Spokesperson for the Kashi region, the event will witness the participation of 10 women from each of the 1,909 booths in the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency. Rathi affirmed that all arrangements for the event have been finalized.

Various professionals including doctors, engineers, lawyers, professors, chartered accountants, and teachers have been extended invitations to the program, which is set to commence at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Archana Mishra, BJP’s state unit secretary and Mahila Morcha in-charge, highlighted the enthusiastic response of women during the Prime Minister’s Kashi roadshow on May 13, stating that it prompted his return to share his joy with the community.

Archana Mishra mentioned the diligent efforts of BJP’s women wing members, who went door-to-door in Varanasi to ensure maximum participation at the event.

Emphasizing PM Modi’s contributions to women’s empowerment during his tenure, Lok Sabha coordinator and MLC Ashwini Tyagi credited him for enabling 33 per cent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies under the Nari Shakti Vandan Act.

Following the interaction, Prime Minister Modi will spend the night at the BLW guest house in Varanasi. On Wednesday, he is scheduled to address a meeting at the Government Polytechnic Ground, as confirmed by Basti Superintendent of Police, Gopal Krishna Chowdhury.

Gopal Krishna Chowdhury informed about the security arrangements, stating that SPG security personnel have already inspected the rally venue, and a no-fly zone has been declared in nearby areas from May 20 to May 22 due to security reasons.

The event will also feature Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Anupriya Patel sharing the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
