Noida: The Aam Aadmi Party has announced the appointment of Parshuram Chaudhary as the District President of Gautam Buddh Nagar, marking an important organizational development for the party in the district. The appointment was made on January 6, 2026, at the party office located in Nimmi Vihar, Sector 89, Noida.

The decision to appoint Parshuram Chaudhary was taken with the consent of Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and Uttar Pradesh in-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party, Sanjay Singh. The appointment received formal approval from Somendra Dhaka, the Provincial President of the Western Province. The announcement was made by Gautam Buddh Nagar District In-charge C M Chauhan in the presence of State President of the Youth Wing, Pankaj Awana, along with other party leaders and workers.

Providing details about the appointment, State Party Spokesperson Sanjeev Nigam said that Parshuram Chaudhary is a founding member of the Aam Aadmi Party and has been actively associated with the organization since its inception. Over the years, he has held various responsibilities within the party and has consistently worked at different locations to strengthen the party’s base and promote its ideology. His long association with the party and grassroots-level experience were key factors behind his appointment as the district president.

Before being entrusted with the responsibility of District President, Parshuram Chaudhary was serving as the State Vice President of the Other Backward Classes Wing of the party. In this role, he played an active part in organizational activities and outreach programmes aimed at strengthening the party’s connect with OBC communities across Uttar Pradesh. Party leaders said his organizational skills, discipline and dedication have been widely appreciated within the party structure.

It was also highlighted that Parshuram Chaudhary is a retired soldier from the Indian Army. Party leaders said his background in the armed forces reflects his commitment to discipline, service and integrity, qualities that are expected to further strengthen the party’s organizational structure in Gautam Buddh Nagar. His experience as an ex-serviceman is seen as an added advantage in leading the party’s district unit with efficiency and responsibility.

After assuming charge as District President, Parshuram Chaudhary expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for placing trust in him. He said that with the cooperation and support of all party colleagues, he would work with complete honesty, dedication and commitment to strengthen the Aam Aadmi Party in Gautam Buddh Nagar. He emphasized that his focus would be on expanding the party’s reach at the grassroots level, strengthening the organization at the booth level and raising issues related to public welfare in an effective manner.

Parshuram Chaudhary further said that the party’s principles of clean politics, transparency and public service would guide his work as district president. He added that efforts would be made to connect more people, especially youth and marginalized sections, with the party’s ideology and programmes. According to him, building a strong and united organization in the district would be his top priority.

Speaking on the occasion, State President of the Youth Wing Pankaj Awana and District In-charge C M Chauhan jointly stated that under the leadership of Sanjay Singh, the Aam Aadmi Party has already completed two phases of its padyatra in Uttar Pradesh. They informed that the third phase of the padyatra will begin on January 16 from Mirzapur and will conclude on January 22 at Sarnath in Varanasi.

They said that this padyatra is aimed at strengthening the party’s connection with the people and highlighting key public issues across the state. They added that a large number of party workers from Gautam Buddh Nagar will participate in the padyatra under the leadership of newly appointed District President Parshuram Chaudhary. The leadership expressed confidence that his appointment would energize party workers in the district and contribute positively to the success of the upcoming padyatra.

Party leaders and workers present at the event congratulated Parshuram Chaudhary on his appointment and expressed hope that his leadership would help the Aam Aadmi Party expand its organizational strength and political presence in Gautam Buddh Nagar in the coming period.
