Jammu . Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has started virtual darshan through the natural cave by setting up kiosks at five places leading to the shrine of Maa Vaishno Devi located in the Trikuta hills of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Which is another historic step for the convenience of pilgrims.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anshul Garg said on Friday that pilgrims will be able to have virtual darshan of the sacred natural cave and Mata Rani at various places leading to Vaishno Devi Bhawan. He said that pilgrims can enjoy a unique experience through VR headset by making a digital payment of only Rs 101 this Shardiya Navratri starting from October 15. Kiosks will be available at Niharika Bhawan (Katra), Serli Helipad, Ardhkuwari, Parvati Bhawan and Durga Bhawan.
During this, Shri Garg also said that pilgrims often demand to open an old traditional natural cave for darshan, which is opened only once a year. He informed that for the convenience of the pilgrims and to fulfill their desire to have darshan through the natural cave, this will now be done through virtual mode,Especially the elderly pilgrims who believe in visiting through the natural cave. At the same time, Garg said that this facility will always be available for the pilgrims. However, to ensure smooth flow of the Yatra and reduce crowding during Navratras, modern skywalk flyover and digital locker facilities will also be introduced by the Shrine Board in the building.
