A high-level review meeting was held on April 29, 2026, to assess the progress of the deer park being developed across nearly 30 acres in Sector 91, Noida. The project is being envisioned not just as a recreational space but as a significant hub for wildlife conservation and environmental education. Officials from various departments along with wildlife experts participated in the meeting, where design aspects, infrastructure planning, and timelines were discussed in detail.

Focus on Design and Habitat Planning
The meeting reviewed the design of the entry plaza, emphasizing the need for an आकर्षक and user-friendly structure that enhances visitor experience. Special attention was given to the enclosures being developed for deer and other animals. These enclosures are being designed to replicate natural habitats, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of the animals while supporting their natural behavior and adaptation.
Modern Visitor Facilities Planned
To make the park accessible and convenient, several modern amenities are being incorporated. Battery-operated vehicles, such as golf carts, will be available for visitors to explore the park easily. Additionally, EV charging stations, clean and well-maintained toilets, drinking water facilities, and shaded resting areas or huts are being planned. These provisions aim to ensure a comfortable and engaging experience for visitors of all age groups.
Boost to Biodiversity and Conservation
There is currently no dedicated deer park in Gautam Buddh Nagar or the wider NCR region, making this project a significant addition. With the declining population of deer and similar species, the park is being developed as a safe and sustainable habitat where these species can thrive.
Beyond conservation, the park will also serve as an educational platform, helping visitors understand wildlife, ecosystems, and the importance of environmental protection. It is expected to play a crucial role in spreading awareness and encouraging responsible interaction with nature.
Development as per Central Zoo Authority Guidelines
The deer park is being developed in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Zoo Authority. It will function as a mini zoo and an independent unit, ensuring compliance with all safety, welfare, and operational standards. This structured approach will help maintain high standards of animal care and provide a secure environment for both animals and visitors.
Targeted Completion by October 2026
Clear directions were issued during the meeting to expedite the construction work and ensure the park is ready for inauguration by October 2026. Departments have been instructed to adhere strictly to timelines and complete all necessary arrangements within the निर्धारित schedule.
Once completed, the deer park is expected to become a landmark in Noida, combining conservation, education, and recreation into a single sustainable development initiative that benefits both the environment and the community.
